Ellington, Conn. - The American International College men's gold team is in sixth-place out of 13 teams through two rounds of the Connecticut Cup, hosted by the University of Connecticut at the par-72 Ellington Ridge Country Club. The Yellow Jackets, who are the only non-Division I program in the tournament, shot a 296 in round one and a 306 in round two.

Riverhead, N.Y. - Junior #Garrett Beyor# (Monson, Mass.) placed fifth with an eight-over par 150 (77-73) to lead the American International College men's golf team to at third-place finish at the Dowling September Shootout with a two-day total of 610 (308-302). The 15-team tournament was held at the par-71 Long Island National Golf Club.

South Easton, Mass. – Sophomore #Kevin Daniels# (Anchorage, Alaska) was named theNortheast-10 men’s golf athlete of the week after winning the inaugural Northeast Intercollegiate Golf Championship last week. He led AIC to a first-place team finish at the 17-team even that featured the top team from the region.

BLOOMFIELD, Conn. – The American International College men’s golf team placed first out of 17 teams competing at the Northeast Intercollegiate Golf Championship hosted by Post University. The Yellow Jackets posted scores on 294 and 297 for a two-day total of 591, 15 strokes ahead of second place Wilmington (Del.).

SUTTON, Mass. – Freshman #Nate Pereira# (Ludlow, Mass.) led the way for the Yellow Jackets, placing tied for fourth with a 75 after 18-holes, as the American International College men’s golf team finished tied for second out of the seven competing teams at the Assumption Shootout. AIC tallied a team score of 306 on the afternoon.

South Easton, Mass. - A total of 186 American International College student-athletes were named to the Spring 2009 Northeast-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll, it was announced by the conference office. AIC had the fourth-most student-athletes on the Northeast-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
