South Easton, Mass. – Freshman Bridget Szawlowski (Leeds, Mass.) of the American International College women’s lacrosse team was named to the 2010 Northeast-10 All-Rookie team. The Yellow Jackets had a record season going 8-8 overall and 3-8 in the conference.

Complete NE-10 Release

SOUTH EASTON, Mass. – Senior attackman Katie Warner (Westfield, Mass.) of the American International College women’s lacrosse team collected her sixth Northeast-10 Weekly Honor Roll nomination of the 2010 season. The Yellow Jackets closed out the 2010 season over the weekend with a double-overtime victory over Assumption. AIC finishes 8-8 overall, a school record for wins in a season, and 3-8 in the conference.

With the loss the Yellow Jackets fall to 7-6-0 on the season and to 2-6-0 in the Northeast-10, while the Ravens improve to 5-8-0 this season and to 3-6-0 in the conference. Senior attackman Katie Warner (Westfield, Mass.) became the school all-time scorer, breaking Caitlin Mooney’s record of 131 career goals. Warner ended with four goals on the night.
