COMPLIANCE

Boosters/Friends/Alumni

Basic Rules

1) American International College is RESPONSIBLE for the actions of its friends of athletics; which includes boosters, alumni, and friends and family of current student-athletes.

2) Friends of American International College are strictly PROHIBITED from engaging in any recruiting activities on or off campus.

3) Friends of American International College CANNOT provide anything to or for a prospective or current student-athlete, or their relatives or friends, without first checking with the Athletics Department's Compliance Office.

4) It is PERMISSIBLE for a friend of American International College to arrange employment for student-athletes in the summer only after a student has graduated from high school and signed a National Letter of Intent (or Financial Aid Agreement) with American International College, or is currently enrolled at American International College.  This arrangement is permissible as long as the student-athlete is compensated for work actually performed at a rate commensurate with the going rate for similar services, provided the institution does not arrange the employment and the opportunity for employment is available on an equal basis to all applicants who qualify for the position.  The student-athlete and the booster must notify the Compliance Office of the arrangement prior to employment commencing.
