Julie Zoolkoski was named head field hockey coach at American International College in May, 2006.

In her first season in 2006, AIC quickly served notice that it was much improved, winning its first game of the season against a Saint Michael's squad that spent much of the season nationally-ranked.  Four of the Yellow Jackets' losses would come in overtime and AIC suffered a total of eight one-goal defeats.

A 2003 graduate of The College of William and Mary, Zoolkoski was a three-year starter in field hockey for the Tribe.  The Mountaintop, Pa. native helped lead W&M to a Top 20 national ranking in each of her three seasons and a pair of appearances in the NCAA Division I Tournament in 2000 and 2002.  As a senior Zoolkoski was named to the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) All-Tournament Team and received the CAA Commissioners' Academic Award in 2002.

Zoolkoski spent last season as an assistant coach at Washington and Jefferson College in Washington, Pa. and prior to that was an assistant coach for two seasons at Amherst College.  In the spring of 2005 she served as the head coach for the USA Field Hockey Futures Program, Great Lakes Region.  Zoolkoski has also worked at numerous field hockey summer camps, including camps at Stanford and William and Mary.

After earning her Bachelors' of Business Administration. in Marketing from W&M in 2003, Zoolkoski would go on to earn a Master's degree in Education at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst in 2005.
