Elie went on to an 11-year NBA career with six different teams, most notably the Houston Rockets and San Antonio Spurs.  He captured back-to-back NBA championships with Houston in 1994 and 1995, then captured his third title in 1999 when the Spurs downed the New York Knicks in six games.  Elie’s teams made the playoffs in all 11 seasons.  After wrapping up his playing career with Phoenix in 2000-01, Elie served as an assistant coach with San Antonio last season and is on the Golden State Warriors staff this season.
