AIC ATHLETIC HALL OF FAME

JOHN A. JONES 

John A. Jones was a forward on the Yellow Jackets basketball team. He led the team to a NAIA tournament appearance in 1956 and finished his career as the program's second all-time leading scorer with 1,470 career points. After graduating in 1957, he became a materials dispatcher for Hamilton Standard until 1958, and then became a quality control chemist from 1959-1964. He moved on to become a materials engineer and then worked as a respirator development engineer for American Optical Corporation/Cabot Safety Corporation/Aearo Corporation.
