Tom Mullen '78

Mullen is AIC's all-time leading scorer in ice hockey, registering 248 points (134 goals, 114 assists) over a four-year career from 1974-78. He owns three of the top eight single season goal scoring marks in school history, including a school-record 40 goals in 21 games during the 1974-75 season. His 134 career goals are also a school record. A native of New York City Mullen skated on the famed "New York Connection" line with Bill Condon and Edgar Alejandro that posted 81 goals and 111 assists in 1974-75 and featured three of the top seven scorers in school history. Mullen's teams went a combined 63-33-1 over his career.

Mullen would go on to play professionally for seven seasons with several teams including the Grand Rapids Owls, Richmond Rifles and Salem Raiders. He enjoyed most of his professional success with the Raiders, being named team MVP in 1982-83 after totaling 37 goals and 40 assists for 77 points. He ended his professional career with 143 goals and 154 assists for 297 points.
