Colchester, Vt. - The American International College men’s cross country team placed ninth of 13 team, while the women’s squad finished 13th of 15 teams at the 2008 Northeast-10 Cross Country Championship, hosted by Saint Michael’s College. Freshman
Brian Mulwo earned third-team all-conference honors after placing 17th overall in the men’s race with a time of 26:12.5.
Sophomore
Matt Hegarty finished 50th with a time of 27:44.5 and freshman
Kyle Mackie finished 63rd with a time of 28:08.2. Junior
Malcolm Forbes finished 86th with a time of 29:46.9 and sophomore
Mikell Branch rounded out AIC’s top-five, placing 89th with a time of 29:51.1.
Sophomore
Sarah Beaudoin led the women’s team, placing 69th with a time of 21:02. Freshman
Jen D’Angelo finished 71st with a time of 21:03 and classmate
Sade Joseph finished 120th with a time of 23:38. Freshman
Jessica Steele finished 132nd in 25:29 and classmate Jennifer Ring finished 139th in 29:42.
The Yellow Jackets will next compete at the NCAA Northeast Regional Championship, hosted by UMass Lowell at Franklin Park in Boston, November 9 at 11 a.m.
