Women's Volleyball Drops Two Matches at Lock Haven Tournament

Lock Haven, Pa. – The American International College women’s volleyball team went 0-2 in pool play at the Lock Haven Tournament, falling to Alderson-Broaddus 3-0 (25-18, 27-25, 29-19) and the host Lady Eagles 3-0 (25-19, 25-11, 25-23). The Yellow Jackets are now 1-3 on the season.

Against Alderson-Broaddus, freshman Ellisha Terry (Fort Worth, Texas) led AIC with nine kills and classmate Kaitlen Laine (San Diego, Calif.) added five kills. Freshman Kervelle Redhead (St. James, Trinidad and Tobago) registered 14 assists

Against Lock Haven, Laine had five kills and Redhead registered 13 assists. Sophomore Kambryn Williams (Pomona, Calif.) had eight digs and Terry had seven digs.

The Yellow Jackets will next take on Felician Saturday in the second day of competition at the Lock Haven Tournament.
