Lock Haven, Pa. – The American International College women’s volleyball team went 1-1 on the second day of the Lock Haven Tournament, defeating Felician 3-0 (25-11, 26-24 25-23) and falling to Alderson-Broaddus 3-1 (21-25 17-25 25-16 15-25) The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 2-4 on the season.
Sophomore
Keziah Kashouh (West Warwick, R.I.) recorded 10 kills, eight of which came in the first set, in AIC’s win over Felician, while classmates
Kambryn Williams (Pomona, Calif.) and
Alicia Smith (Bridgetown, Barbados) added five kills each. Freshman
Kervelle Redhead (St. James, Trinidad and Tobago) registered 13 assists and classmate
Renee Boudreaux (Cranston, R.I.) had four service aces.
Freshman
Ellisha Terry (Fort Worth, Texas) registered a double-double with 11 kills and 10 digs against Alderson-Broaddus and Williams notched five kills and seven service aces. Redhead handed our 23 assists and junior
Jenn Hormann (Forest Grove, Ore.) recorded 15 digs and four service aces. Smith added four kills and seven total blocks, four of which were solo blocks).
The Yellow Jackets will next host Bentley Tuesday at 7 p.m. at Butova Gymnasium.
