Cassie Ashwell (Agawam, Mass.) of the American International College women’s soccer team was named to the Northeast-10 Weekly Honor Roll after leading the Yellow Jackets to a 1-0 win over Saint Michael’s in the team’s final home game of the season.
Ashwell scored her third goal of the season with 11:20 to go in the first half. She took the shot from 20-yards out and ball just got in under the cross bar.
AIC returns to action Tuesday when it travels to Southern Connecticut State University for a 7 p.m. Northeast-10 contest.
