Cassie Ashwell (Agawam, Mass.) was named to the Northeast-10 Women’s Soccer Weekly Honor Roll after helping lead AIC to a 2-1 double-overtime win over Merrimack last week.
Ashwell scored the game-tying goal in the 71st-minute from the far left side of the box and then setup the game-winner 2:30 into the second overtime period. She now has two goals and three assists for seven points this season.
The Yellow Jackets return to action Tuesday when they travel to No. 14 Franklin Pierce for a 6 p.m. Northeast-10 contest.
