Wrestling Team Competes at Lock Haven's Mat Town Open

Lock Haven, Pa. – The American International College wrestling team competed at the Mat Town Open Saturday, hosted by Lock Haven University.

Freshman Chris Hoffman (Aberdeen, Md.) won a 7-6 decision over Lehigh’s Brendan Keys at 141 pounds before getting pinned by Andrew Alton. He then dropped a 12-5 decision to Penn State’s Adam Lynch.

Sophomore Josh Rollins (Woburn, Mass.) drew a first round bye at 125 pounds and was pinned by Rider’s Alex Moritz in 3:42 before dropping a 7-5 decision to Lehigh’s Alexander Abreu.

The Yellow Jackets will next compete at Southern Maine’s Ted Reese Invitational December 5.
