Boston, Mass. – Sophomore
Julie Collignon (Orvault, France) finished 18th with a school-record time of school-record time of 23:40.4 at the NCAA East Region Championship, hosted by UMass Lowell at Boston’s Franklin Park. Her time was just four seconds behind the 15th-place runner, which would have earned her all-region honors.
Sophomore
Jen D’Angelo (Watertown, Conn.) finished 51st with a time of 25:10.7 and junior
Sarah Beaudoin (Chicopee, Mass.) finished 81st with a time of 26:09.8. Junior
Lisa Rexon (Pinehill, N.J.) finished 170th with a time of 32:00.0.
Stonehill College won the team title with 51 points and UMass Lowell was a close second with 76 points. The Yellow Jackets did not record a team finish.
