Ellisha Terry (Fort Worth, Texas) was named the Northeast-10 Women’s Volleyball Player of the Week after leading American International College to a 3-0 record last week. She averaged 4.56 kills, 3.11 digs and 0.56 service aces per set last week.
Terry tallied 17 kills with 11 digs and five aces in a win at Merrimack College and hammered down 14 kills with just two errors in 28 attempts in a 3-0 win at Saint Anselm College. She notched 10 kills with eight digs in a sweep of Post University.
The Yellow Jackets closed the season at 23-9 overall and 9-6 in the NE-10, and will be seeded seventh in this weekend’s conference championship tournament, hosted by UMass Lowell. AIC will face second-seeded Adelphi University Friday at 5 p.m. in the quarterfinal round.
