Springfield, Mass. – The American International College men’s lacrosse team lost 22-11 on Saturday afternoon to Southern New Hampshire. With the loss the Yellow Jackets fall to 0-10 this season and to 0-7 in the Northeast-10, while the win improves the Penmen to 3-7 for the year and to 3-3 in the conference. Sophomore

Senior Mike Ball (Salem, N.H.) recorded seven goals and three assists for a game high 10 points to lead Southern New Hampshire. Sophomore Keith Merluzzo (Billerica, Mass.) and freshman Andrew Brown (Marshfield, Mass.) each registered seven points with three goals and four assist, and four goals and three assists, respectively.

Max Castleman (Wilbraham, Mass.), who stopped 13 shots of his own for AIC. Freshman Brendan O’Brien (Hopkinton, Mass.) stopped eight shots for the Penmen before being replaced by sophomore Eric Gunst (Exeter, N.H.), who made six stops in the second half.
