North Andover, Mass. – The American International College women’s lacrosse team dropped a 23-2 decision at Merrimack Wednesday evening. The Warriors improved to 5-7 overall and 5-3 in the Northeast-10, while the Yellow Jackets fell to 3-11 overall and 1-8 in conference play.
Junior Kelly Pasquantonio (Plainville, Mass.) scored four goals with four assists to lead Merrimack and sophomore Christina McCarron (Westwood, Mass.) added four goals and one assist. Junior Jamie-Lee Whiteway (Billerica, Mass.) registered four saves to earn the win in goal.

Kara Kirkland (Plymouth, Mass.) scored one goal each for AIC. Sophomore
Gina Gallo (Westfield, Mass.) made 19 saves in net for the Yellow Jackets.
AIC will close out the 2009 campaign Saturday when they travel to Saint Michael’s for a 1 p.m. Northeast-10 contest.
