MANCHESTER, N.H. – The American International College men’s lacrosse team lost it’s final game of the regular season 14-9 Friday evening at Saint Anselm. With the loss the Yellow Jackets finish the season with an 0-12 record and are 0-9 in the Northeast-10, while the Hawks improved to 7-6 on the year and to 5-4 in the conference.
Sophomore
Dan MacIssac (Port Perry, Ont.) and freshman
Nicholas Brett (Louden, N.H.) each tallied three goals and an assist for AIC. Sophomore
Aaron McNab (West Springfield, Mass.) scored twice and assisted on two others, while graduate student
Leon Mularski (Wallingford, Conn.) found the back of the net once.
Senior Chris Murphy (Winchester, Mass.) led the Saint Anselm offense with four goals and two assists, while classmate Matt Surette (Wakefield, Mass.) netted three goals.
Sophomore
Mark Taylor (North Andover, Mass.) stopped 12 shots for the Yellow Jackets, while his counterpart, classmate Dan Flynn (Wakefield, Mass.) made six saves to claim victory for the Hawks.
