Sarah Calgreen (Stratford, Conn.) with the game-winning run in the bottom of the 10th to give the Yellow Jackets a 7-6 game-two win over Pace University Friday afternoon at Groff Field. The Setters took game-one 2-0.
AIC's record now stands at 21-19 for the season and 13-11 in the Northeast-10. The Setters' record moved to 20-19 overall and 14-7 in conference play.
Game two was tied at four when AIC plated a pair of runs in the bottom of the third to take a 6-4 lead. Senior third baseman
Tara DeMontier (Amesbury, Mass.) broke the tie when she scored on a bunt from junior second baseman
Michelle Franey (Abington, Mass.) and freshman center fielder
Ashleigh St. Peter (Gill, Mass.) later scored on a wild pitch.
Pace got one run back in the fourth as freshman designated player Tiffany Ott (Broad Channel, N.Y.) singled up the middle to scored junior outfielder Amanda Dague (Spring, Texas) and the Setters then tied the game in the fifth when Dague drove in freshman right fielder Nicole Schultheis (Bethpage, N.Y.) with a single to center.
Freshman pitcher
Kristen Dolan (Norwood, Mass.) improved to 12-6 after allowing two runs with nine strikeouts in nine innings of relief. Senior pitcher Kiryl Shada (Pleasant Prairie, Wisc.) took the loss after allowing one unearned run in 4.2 innings of relief.
Shada tossed a one-hitter and struck-out eight in game-one as the Setters posted a 2-0 win over AIC. Pace scored twice in the fourth as freshman shortstop Lauren Bell (New Windsor, N.Y.) scored on an error and senior second baseman Missy Dubey (Middlefield, Conn.) scored on an single through the right side off the bat of senior center fielder Christina Pane (Stony Point, N.Y.).
Senior pitcher Sarah Puglisi (Amsterdam, N.Y.) took the loss after allowing two runs with three strikeouts in three-plus innings. Senior pitcher

The Yellow Jackets will look to lockup a berth in the Northeast-10 Championship Tournament Saturday when they travel to Stonehill College for the NE-10 doubleheader. First pitch is set for 1 p.m.
