Glarius Rop (Eldoret, Kenya) won the 37th Annual Shriners’ Invitational, hosted UMass Dartmouth, with a school and course-record time of 24:05 on the 8K course as the American International College men’s cross country team placed 12th of 37 teams Saturday.

Victor Kemboi (Eldoret, Kenya) placed sixth with a time of 25:05 and freshman
Julien Devanne (St. Sylvain D’Anjou, France) clocked in with a time of 25:44, good for 34th overall. Junior
Mikell Branch (Los Angles, Calif.) and freshman
James Denzine (Wiesbaden, Germany) finished with respective times of 28:41 and 28:47.
The Yellow Jackets will next compete at the Central Connecticut State Invitational September 26.
