LUDLOW, Mass. – The American International College men’s soccer team dropped a 1-0 decision to visiting New York Institute of Technology Wednesday night at Lusitano Stadium in a non-conference contest. The Bears improved to 5-5-0 for the season, while the Yellow Jackets fell to 5-6-0.

Sophomore midfielder Robeson Dubois Hilton (Baldwin, N.Y.) scored off a touch pass from sophomore midfielder Aristides Campos Jr. (Freeport, N.Y.) just 30-seconds into the second period to give NYIT the only goal it would need. AIC had several quality scoring chances, but senior keeper Cosimo D’Agostino (Brampton, Ont.) stood tall and made that one goal stand up.

D’Agostino made five saves to record the win in goal, while senior keeper Ryan Brooks-Newton (Selkirk, N.Y.) had three stops for AIC. The Yellow Jackets outshot NYIT 9-6 in the game.

The Yellow Jackets return to action Saturday when they travel to Merrimack College for a 7 p.m. Northeast-10 contest.
