Anthony Thomas (Baltimore, Md.) was named to the Northeast-10 Men’s Basketball Weekly Honor Roll after averaging a double-double with 15.5 points and 12 rebounds in a 1-1 week for the Yellow Jackets. He shot 53.3 percent from the field and 71.4 percent from the line.
Thomas scored 10 points and grabbed 12 boards against No. 17 Bentley and then scored a career-high 21 points with 12 boards and two blocked shots in a 71-51 win at UMass Lowell. He is averaging eight points and seven rebounds a game this season and is averaging 11 points and 10 board during the last five games.
The Yellow Jackets will next travel to Stonehill College, which was receiving votes in last week’s NABC Coaches’ Poll, Wednesday for a 7:30 p.m. Northeast-10 contest.
