Olivia Thibou (Boston, Mass.) placed 17th in the triple jump with a leap of 11.29 meters as the American International College women’s track & field team competed at the New Balance Collegiate Invitational at the Armory.

Bidemi Balogun (Providence, R.I.) finished 22nd in the weight throw with a toss of 15.85 meters, while freshman
Starr Nathan (Randolph, Mass.) finished 52nd in the 200-meter dash with a time of 26.49 seconds. Classmate
Ashley Aupont (Endicott, N.Y.) finished 55th in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.35 seconds, just 0.35 seconds short of a provisional NCAA qualifying mark.
The Yellow Jackets will next compete at Boston University’s Valentine Invitational February 12-13.
