Freshman Herb Coggeshall (Coventry, Conn.) got the ball to classmate Dan Mooney (Bennington, Vt.), who relayed the throw to senior Jason Rustico (Plantsville, Conn.) to record the final out.

Senior Jeff Rustico (Plantsville, Conn.) went 2 for 4 at the plate with two RBIs for AIC and Jason Rustico went 1 for 4 with a RBI. Senior David Dest (Orange, Conn.), junior Mike Mazzery (Pittsfield, Mass.) and Coggeshall also went 2 for 4 at the plate.
