Cheerleading Tryout Information
Message from head coach Jessica Jorgensen ... No previous Cheerleading experience is required as I am looking for potential as well as current skill level. I'm in search of positive "team" player attitudes where you are willing to learn and try new skills and accept constructive criticism.
The AIC Cheer Squad cheers all home football games, women's & men's basketball games and some hockey. Practices are generally Tuesday and Thursday 6:30pm - 8:30pm. However, while training for certain special events additional practices may be required. Due to practice times and special events in the evening it is required that all team member not have evening classes past 5pm.
All prospective AIC Cheerleaders must submit a tryout form as well as a tryout video in absentia. Please make sure your email address is correct on the form.
**All Tryout Videos must be submitted by Friday May 9, 2008**
The video must include: You will be notified within 2 weeks from that date via e-mail of my decision.
- A tell me about yourself section (Let me know what experience you've had with cheering and why you would like to represent AIC.)
- 3 jumps of choice
- Strong dance (minimum of 56 seconds)
- 1 Cheer
- Optional partner stunting
I want to see the best two stunts you can do. Don't worry if you have never done partner stunting before, I will work with you to learn if you are accepted to the squad.
You can e-mail or post mail your video to:
