Parent and Holley Honored by Northeast-10

Parent (West Warwick, R.I.) was named
the Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week for the fourth time in five
weeks after completing 12 passes for 211 yards in AIC's 30-9
victory over Saint Anselm Saturday. Sophomore linebacker Terrence Holley (Bronx, N.Y.) was
named to the weekly honor roll after recording seven tackles (three
solo, four assisted), including 1.5 tackles for loss, and had one
forced fumble as the Yellow Jackets' defense held the Hawks to 149
yards of total offense.
Parent, who was also named the conference Freshman of the Week on Oct. 29, has completed 114 passes for 1,792 yards and has 12 touchdowns. He ranks fifth in the NE-10 in pass efficiency at 135.9 and is sixth in the conference with 199.1 passing yards per game
Holley leads the team and is seventh in the NE-10 8.2 tackled per game (29-37-66) and leads the team and the conference with four forced fumbles. He also leads the team with eight tackles for loss.
AIC will close out the regular season Saturday at Stonehill at 1 p.m. A win by the Yellow Jackets, combined with Bryant loss to Bentley, would give AIC a share of the league title.
