Field Hockey Downed 1-0 By Assumption
Worcester, Mass – Junior Cindy Armand (Danvers, Mass.) totaled nine saves in a complete game effort, but it wasn’t enough to lead the Yellow Jackets past Assumption College Tuesday afternoon, as they fell 1-0 in a tight, Northeast-10 battle.
The lone goal of the game was scored in the first half, a little over 20 minutes into the match, by Laura DuBois who was assisted by Jill Hughes.
Despite the loss the Yellow Jackets saw aggressive play from Jamie Anderson (North Attleboro), who ripped off four shots, three of them on net.
