Laskey Picked to All-Conference Team, Three Yellow Jackets Selected to Senior All-Star Game

Springfield, Mass - Junior Stephanie Laskey (Irving, Mass.) was selected to the 2007 Northeast-10 Second-Team All-Conference squad following another solid year for the third-year midfielder. Seniors Jamie Anderson (North Attleboro, Mass.), Nicole Phelps (Nassau, N.Y.) and Nichole Signorelli (East Greenbush, N.Y) were all picked to represent AIC in the 2007 NFHCA Division II Senior All-Star game.

Laskey scored three goals and added one assist for a career high seven points in 2007. The seven points matched her career-high from last year, when she totaled a goal and five assists.  For her career she has five goals and eight assists in 48 games played. She is a constant presence in the middle of the field, and easily one of the Yellow Jackets most talented players.

Anderson, Signorelli and Phelps were all selected to play in the NFHCA Division II All-Star game November 1st at the University of Maryland.

Anderson is the Yellow Jackets' all-time leader in points (49) and assists (19). She is also second in career goals with 15. Signorelli anchored a much improved defense in 2007. AIC lowered their goals-against-average by .60 goals-per-game.  She has totaled three assists, playing in 70 games in her four year career. Phelps who had her best statistical season as a Yellow Jacket totaled a team-high six goals along with two assists. She is American International College's all-time leader with 18 goals.
