2005-06: Played in 30 of 32 games and finished with totals of 5-2-7...had goals in back-to-back games against Sacred Heart (11/6-7)...tallied a goal in a win over Canisius (1/6). 

2004-05: Notched eight assists and finished with 11 points in his first season (3-8-11)...had a goal and an assist against Air Force (12/10)...had a five-game point-scoring streak from February 5 (Canisius) to February 19 (Sacred Heart)...notched a pair of assists in a game at Army (2/25).

Before AIC: Prepped at Pomfret School (Conn.) in 2003-04...averaged nearly two points per game, posting 28 goals and 26 assists in 29 games for the Griffins...also All-League in football at Pomfret...2003 graduate of Hingham H.S...helped lead the Harbormen to the 2002 state championship while being named tournament Most Valuable Player...Boston Globe All-Scholastic and Boston Herald Dream Team selection.

Personal: Born August 14, 1985 in Hingham, Mass....son of Charlie and Diane Genovese...Sports Management major...lists former Boston Bruins' captain Joe Thornton as his favorite athlete...also plays baseball in the spring and finished second on the squad in batting average in 2005.
