JEREME TENDLER NAMED TO ATLANTIC HOCKEY THIRD TEAM
ROCHESTER, N.Y. (March 16, 2007) - Junior forward
Jereme Tendler (Viceroy, SK) of the American
International College hockey team was named an Atlantic Hockey
Association Third Team All-Star Thursday night, it was announced at
the annual AHA banquet held at the RIT Inn Thursday night.
Tendler becomes the third Yellow Jacket to garner All-Atlantic
Hockey honors, as Guillaume Caron was a First Team selection in
2003-04 while goaltender Frank Novello was named to the First Team
one year later.
Tendler led the Yellow Jackets in scoring for the second straight year. Despite missing two games, Tendler recorded 15 goals and a career-best 13 assists for 28 points on the season. Over the course of the season, Tendler scored four power play goals, two shorthanded goals and two game-winning goals to boost his career total to eight. Earlier this season he notched his first career hat trick in a 6-1 win over Bentley, and lifted the Yellow Jackets to a 3-2 win over Connecticut in overtime on February 16.
Over his 90-game career, Tendler has registered
39 goals and 27 assists for 66 career points. He has led the
Yellow Jackets in goal scoring in each of his first three seasons
and last season led the Yellow Jackets with 26 points on the
strength of 15 goals and 11 assists. Tendler also served as
an assistant captain this past season.
