Springfield, Mass. - Senior captain Jereme Tendler
(Viceroy, SK), sophomore Mike McMillan (Sault Ste. Marie, Ont.) and
freshman goalie Dan Ramirez (Rochester, N.Y.) have all been
nominated for the 2007-2008 Hobey Baker Award. The award is given
to the most outstanding player in College Hockey.
Tendler has been a staple in the first-line of the Yellow Jacket offensive since climbing into an AIC uniform four years ago. He leads the team and is tied for 11th in the conference with 19 points.
McMillan has been a very pleasant surprise for the Yellow Jackets in his second season with the program. He is tied with a team best eight goals and is one point behind Tendler for the team lead in points with 18.
Ramirez continues to impress in his first season with the AIC. Ramirez has twice been named Atlantic Hockey Association Goalie of the Week, while accumulating five wins and a 3.04 goals-against-average.
