Pavli and Mele Earn Atlantic Hockey Stripes

Springfield, Mass. - Senior forward Mark Pavli (Sarnia, Ont.) and freshman forward Tom Mele (Bronx, N.Y.) were named to the Atlantic Hockey Association Honor Roll late Monday afternoon.

Pavli skated onto the AHA Honor Roll following a weekend that helped him climb up to third in scoring on the team. Pavli registered an assist Friday evening, before tailing one-of-three Yellow Jacket goals Saturday afternoon. Pavli continues to play determined hockey.

Mele adds his name to the list of freshman who have made contributions to the program in their first season. In Friday's evenings contest, Mele scored the first goal of his collegiate career off of an assist from Pavli and another freshman, Mike Little (Enfield, Conn.).

AIC will host Holy Cross this evening at 7:05 pm before hitting the road to face the Pioneers of Sacred Heart this weekend.
