Men's Basketball Falls to Pace 85-74
Pleasantville, N.Y. - The American Internationals College
men's basketball team dropped an 85-74 decision at Pace University
Tuesday night. The Setters improved to 1-2 on the season and 1-0 in
the Northeast-10, while the Yellow Jackets dropped to 1-2 overall
and 0-1 in conference play. Sophomore forward Aikeem Vanderhorst
(Bay Shore, N.Y.) led AIC with a game-high 24 points and eight
rebounds.
Senior guard Randy Williams (Centerville, Va.) led Pace with 24 points, while Desmond Quincy-Jones (Rye, N.Y.) recorded a double-double with 10 points and 12 boards points. Senior guard Gibraltar White (Gautier, Miss.) chipped in with 14 points.
Junior forward Colson Senat (Montreal, P.Q.) registered a double-double for AIC with 14 points and 12 rebounds, while sophomore forward Ryan Leak (Brooklyn, N.Y.) netted 13 points with four rebounds.
The Yellow Jackets return to action Sunday when they host Saint
Rose at 3:30 p.m. in a Northeast-10 contest.
