GRIFFIN PLACES SEVENTH, GOLF COMPETES AT FPC INVITATIONAL

JAFFREY, N.H. (September 13, 2006) -
Brent Griffin (Leyden, Mass.) finished in a tie
for seventh place overall with a score of 84 as the American
International College golf team opened up its 2006 season at the
Franklin Pierce College Invitational at The Shattuck on
Wednesday. The Yellow Jackets placed fourth with a team score
of 381.
In addition to Griffin, Mike McMillan (Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario) carded a 98, Josh Froese (Winkler, Manitoba) came in with a 99 and Chad Richardson (Regina, Saskatchewan) fired a 101. John Silva finished with a 109 for the Yellow Jackets.
AIC returns to action this Saturday and Sunday
when it competes in the Duke Nelson Invitational hosted by
Middlebury College.
