Beyor Wins Individual Title, Yellow Jackets Place Second
at Lou Flumere Invitational
Stow, Mass. - The American International College men’s golf
team placed second of 23 teams and was the top finishing Division
II squad at Bentley’s 35th Annual Lou Flumere Invitational at
Stow Acres Country Club. Freshman Garrett Beyor (Monson,
Mass.), the reigning Northeast-10 Freshman of the Week,
won the individual title with an even par 72.
Sophomore Andrew Mesheau (Monson, Mass) and freshman Kent Graham (Kamuela, Hawaii) were two of eight players tied for 25th overall with a nine-over par 81, while junior Chad Richardson (Regina, Sask.) and sophomore Mike McMillan (Sault Ste. Marie, Ont.) were among 10 players tied for 42nd with an 11-over par 83.
AIC will next compete at Dowling's Peter King Memorial
Invitational at Long Island National Golf Club April 6-7.
