Bryant Beats Men's Lacrosse 31-3

Smithfield, RI. - Three separate Yellow Jackets scored but the AIC men's lacrosse team dropped a 31-3 Northeast-10 match-up to Bryant College Wednesday evening. The loss drops AIC to 1-3 overall and 0-3 in the Northeast-10. Bryant improved to 4-3 overall and 1-1 in the conference.

AIC was shut out in the first-half and was faced with a 14 goal deficit following the first-stanza. The Yellow Jackets finally got on the board in the third frame when James St. Cyr (Utica, N.Y.) notched his first goal of the season. 

The Yellow Jackets surrendered eight more goals before Nick Abraham (Tewksbury, Mass.) and Alex Casparius (Portland, Maine.) scored back-to-back scores.

Mark Taylor (North Andover, Mass.) played the first half in goal for the Yellow Jackets making eight saves. Max Castlemen (Wilbraham, Mass.) got the nod in the second half for AIC, allowing nine goals and turning away six shots on net.

AIC will travel to Southern New Hampshire to take on the Penmen Saturday afternoon at 1:00 pm.
