AIC, LE MOYNE BATTLE TO 0-0 MEN’S SOCCER STALEMATE

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (September 14, 2005) – American International College and Le Moyne College played to a 0-0 tie in a Northeast-10 men’s soccer match Wednesday afternoon at AIC Park.  The Yellow Jackets moved to 3-1-1 overall and 2-0-1 in league play, while the Dolphins, who reached the league semifinals last season, are now 3-1-2 and 1-1-1 in NE-10 play.

Michael Murphy (Ithaca, N.Y.) made seven saves en route to his second shutout of the season for American International.  Tim Mann (Silver Spring, Md.) also made seven saves as he recorded his second shutout of 2005.  The visiting Dolphins outshot the Yellow Jackets 17-15.

AIC returns to action Saturday when it travels to Franklin Pierce College for a 7:00 contest.
