Men's Soccer Downs Bentley 2-1.
Waltham, Mass. - The American International
College men's soccer team used goals from senior forward Chris Charles
(Brooklyn, N.Y.) and junior defenseman Leonardo Santos
(Belo Horizonte, Brazil ) to defeat the host Falcons
of Bentley College Saturday afternoon in a Northeast-10 clash. The
win improves the Jackets to 2-8-3 overall and 2-7-1 in the
Northeast-10 while the loss drops Bentley to 3-9-0 overall and
1-7-0 in the conference.
Jared Jonquin scored the lone goal of the contest for Bentley who was out-shot 19-9 over the course of the game.
Senior Mathew Marcoux (Blackstone, Mass.) turned away three shots between the pipes for AIC while Derek Dubois made 10 saves in net for Bentley.
AIC will host Caldwell College Monday, October 8th at
noon.
