Charles Named to All-Conference Men's Soccer Team

North Easton, Mass - Senior forward Chris Charles (Brooklyn, N.Y.) of the American International College men's soccer team has been named a third-team all-conference selection by the Northeast-10. He was also named to the all-conference team last season, his first at AIC, earning first-team honors.

Charles led the Yellow Jackets in scoring for the second consecutive year with six goals and two assists for 14 points in 16 games played. He tallied 11 goals and 23 points last season en route to earning first-team all-New England honors from the National Soccer Coaches Association of America and second-team all-region Daktronics honors. For his career, he scored 17 goals with three assists for 27 points in 33 games played at AIC.

The Yellow Jackets won five of their final six games to finish the 2007 season with an overall record of 6-9-3 and were 5-7-1 in the Northeast-10.
