Softball Falls to Mary and Queens at National Training Center

Clear Water, Fla. - The American International College softball team dropped a pair of games at the USA Softball National Training Center Sunday. The Yellow Jackets opened the day with a 5-1 loss to the University of Mary and then dropped an 8-1 decision to Queens College. The losses dropped AIC to 2-2 on the season.

Junior Ashley Deegan (Madison, Conn.) took the loss against Mary and sophomore Sara Swepson (Dallas, Pa.) suffered the complete game loss to Queens. The Yellow Jackest had a number of scoring opportunities in both games, but were unable to score in those situations.

AIC attempt to avenge the loss to Queens Monday when they two teams meet against at 9:30 a.m. and then take on Rollins College at 11:30 a.m.
