North Kingston, R.I. - Junior Lloyd Brown (Bloomfield, Conn.) finished fifth overall in the 55 meter dash with a New England Championship qualifying time of 6.69 while Deion Lawson placed fourth in the 55 meter hurdles to lead the American International College track and field squad, as they competed in the URI Mega Meet Friday evening in Kingston, Rhode Island. He is the first-ever Yellow Jacket to qualify for the New England Championships since the program began last season.

Antoine Rellerford (Bloomfield, Conn.) placed eighth in the men's long jump with a 6.18m while Mathew Hagarty (Springfield, Mass.) and Creig Levens (Coheos, N.Y.) finished 10th and 11th respectively in the 3000 meter run.
