Men's and Women's Track & Field Teams Compete at Holy Cross

Complete Men's Results; Complete Women's Results   

Worcester, Mass. - Freshman Justin Roberts placed second in the javelin throw with a 54.02 meter toss as the American International College men's track & field team placed sixth at Holy Cross Saturday. Classmate Sarah Beaudoin finished 13th in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 21:25.03 to lead the women's squad.

Freshman Leonard Bunion placed fourth in the shot put and sixth in the discus with respective throws of 12.89 meters and 39.28 meters.

Freshman Deion Lawson placed second in the 110-meter hurdles in 16.11 seconds. Juniors Leonard Jusme and Lloyd Brown placed seventh and eighth in the 100-meter dash with respective times of 11.50 seconds and 11.53 seconds.

Freshmen Maurice Calenda and Lawson placed third in the long jump and triple jump, respectively, with distances of 6.66 meters and 13.00 meters. Terry Goldson placed third in the high jump after clearing 1.87 meters and Roberts placed eighth after clearing 1.72 meters.

Freshman Courtney Roberts finished 10th in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:04.68 and was 14th in the 200-meter dash in 28.25 seconds. Classmate Jessica Vega finished 12th in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:15.36.

The Yellow Jackets will next compete at the Penn Relays April 24-26.
