Roberts Named Freshman of the Week, DeMontier and Brown Make Honor Roll

South Easton, Mass. - Freshman Justin Roberts (Sutton, Mass.) of the American International College track & field team was named the Northeast-10 Men's Field Athlete of the Week, while senior Tara DeMontier (Amesbury, Mass.) and junior Kellie Brown (Gill, Mass.) of the softball team were named to the weekly honor roll for their respective performances the week ending April 20.

Roberts came in second in the javelin throw with a distance of 54.02 meters at the Holy Cross Invitational. DeMontier batted .409 with two doubles, two home runs, seven RBI, four runs scored. She slugged .773 while posting a .458 on base percentage. Brown batted .500 in six games played this past week with 12 hits, five runs scored and a pair of RBIs.
