Women's Volleyball Sinks St. Rose 3-1

Albany, N.Y. - Kambryn Williams (Pomona, Cali.) totaled a game-high 13 kills to go along with nine digs as the American International College women's volleyball team defeated St. Rose 3-1 (30-27, 30-26, 20-30, 30-23) in a Northeast-10 match-up Saturday afternoon. The contest was the final match of the year for the Yellow Jackets who finish the season 6-12 overall and 4-10 in the Northeast-10. The loss drops the Golden Knights to 14-12 overall and 7-7 in the Northeast-10.

The Yellow Jackets took all but the third set, en-route their fourth Northeast-10 victory of the season. Keziah Kashouh (West Warwick, R.I) smashed eight kills while Alicia Smith (Barbados) unleashed seven finishers for the Yellow Jackets. Ozge Ozkan (Istanbul, Turkey) had a match-best 36 kills, also for AIC.

Stephanie Brink grabbed 11 kills while teammate Sally Munter punched 10 kills for St. Rose in the losing effort.
