SPRINGFIELD, Mass. - The American International College women's basketball team dropped to 8-5 on the season and 5-4 in the Northeast-10 after a 52-46 loss to Le Moyne Tuesday evening at Butova Gymnasium. The Dolphins, who swept the season series with the Yellow Jackets, improved to 7-6 overall and 4-5 in conference play. Junior guard Jen Moussette (Southampton, Mass.) led AIC with 13, on four of five shooting from 3-point range, and grabbed three rebounds.
Junior forward Vanessa Holden (Suffern, N.Y.) scored a game-high 13 points and grabbed six borads for Le Moyne and sophomore forward/center Courtney Coryea (Mooers Forks, N.Y.) fell just short of a double-double after netting 10 points and tracking down eight rebounds. AIC junior forward Stacy Boisvert (Agawam, Mass.) recorded totals of 10 points, seven rebounds and four steals.
The Yellow Jackets held an early 8-2 advantage and led 15-5 with at the 6:15 mark of the first half before the Dolphins closed the opening period with a 15-6 run that was capped by junior guard Kathleen Gladstone's (Cleveland, Ohio) 3-pointer with nine seconds left in the half.

The Yellow Jackets went on an 8-2 run to close within four points at 48-44 with 42 seconds remaining in the contest, but that was as close as they would get as Le Moyne held on for the 52-46 final.

The Yellow Jackets return to action Saturday when they travel to
