WOLFE NOTCHES 100TH CAREER POINT IN WOMEN'S LACROSSE FINALE
NORTH ANDOVER, Mass. (April 28, 2007) - Senior Lindsey
Wolfe (Westfield, Mass.) tallied a goal in her final collegiate
game to become the sixth player in American International College
women's lacrosse history to notch 100 career points, but the Yellow
Jackets fell to Merrimack 20-5 in the season finale Saturday.
Merrimack is now 9-5 and 6-3 in the Northeast-10, while AIC ends
its season 2-11 and 2-8 in the league.
Wolfe ends her career in sixth place on the AIC women's lacrosse program's all-time scoring list with 100 points on the strength of 70 goals and 30 assists. The 30 assists she handed out over her career are a school record.
Caitlin Mooney (Westfield, Mass.) led the Yellow Jackets with
three goals while Katie Warner (Westfield, Mass.) tallied AIC's
other goal. Megan Trytsman (Kwazulu-Natal, South Africa) made
12 saves.
