Chicopee, Mass. - The American International College women's lacrosse team fell to the visiting Bulldogs of Bryant College 21-5 Wednesday evening in a Northeast-10 match-up at Leary Field located at Elms College in Chicopee, Massachusetts. The Bullldogs improve to 3-1 overall and 1-0 in the Northeast-10 while the Yellow Jackets fall to 0-4 overall and 0-2 in the conference.

Junior Katie Warner (Westfield, Mass.) led the way for AIC scoring three goals. Junior Jessica Scearbo and senior Caitlin Mooney (Wilbraham, Mass.) each chipped in with a score.

AIC went into the half trailing 18-3 but held the Bulldogs to a one goal difference (3-2) in the second half. AIC scored two of their scores off of free-position shots, while Bryant totaled only one from the same manner.

Leading the way for Bryant was Delia Glover who scored four times and Kaitlyn McCabe who notched four scores as well. Allison Faiola and Caitlin Hansen each chipped in with three goals. Glover finished with six points on the day, also adding two helpers.

The Yellow Jackets were outshot 32-8 in the first stanza but reeled off three more shot attempts (6-3), than the Bulldogs, in the second frame.

Freshman Gina Gallo (Westfield, Mass.) made seven saves in net for AIC while Jessica Bolton stopped four shots in net for Bryant.

AIC will host Norwich Saturday with a time and location to be determined.
