WRESTLING COMPETES AT DOUG PARKER INVITATIONAL
SPRINGFIELD, Mass.
(November 18,
2006) - Jeff Haddad (Old
Saybrook, Conn.) finished fifth in the 133 pound weight class as
the American International College wrestling team placed
14th at the Doug Parker Invitational hosted by
Springfield College Saturday. The host Pride took down the
event victory with 185.5 points.
Also picking up match wins on the day for the Yellow Jackets were Nick Laurino (Merrick, N.Y.) at 165 despite wrestling one class above where he normally does at 157 and Sam Gauvine (Enfield, Conn.) at 141.
AIC is now idle until December 2 when it
competes in the Southern Maine Invitational.
