AIC Hosts Trinity Wednesday; Four Yellow Jackets Ranked in Region

Springfield, Mass. - Four members of the American International College wrestling squad - who entertain Trinity College Wednesday evening at 5:00 pm - are currently ranked in the top eight of the Eastern Regional Wrestling individual standings.

Sophomore Sam Guavine (Enfield, Conn.) is the highest ranked Yellow Jacket, currently sitting sixth in the region in the 141 pound weight class. Freshman Carlos Lara (Avon, Conn.) and graduate-student Daniel Dalle-Molle (Kotzebue, Alaska) presently sit seventh overall at the 125 pound and 285 pound weight class; respectively, while junior Jeff Haddad (Old Saybrook, Conn.) is ranked eighth in the 133 pound division.

The Jackets will be at home for the next two match-ups as Rhode Island College and STCC visit on January 30^th and Southern Maine and Plymouth State stop in on February 1^st.
