Springfield, Mass. - The American International College wrestling team has been recognized as one of 10 schools in all of Division II for their outstanding academic achievement. The team earned an overall 3.193 gpa ranking them 10th in the country behind Wisconsin-Parkside who finished ninth with a 3.217.

The Yellow Jackets finished only slightly behind the first place finisher in the country, Truman State who had a 3.394 team gpa.

AIC finished the season with a 6-9 duel record. Some of their wins included: Southern Maine, Trinity and Division I Wagner.
